In 2004, Mr. Stephen Metcalfe, at the request of Mr. Johannes Oentoro, established UPH’s Sports Department and became its first director. With support from Mr. James Riady, the department and its facilities, starting with the Sport Center, were developed. Over the years, it has grown into a key player in Indonesian sports, committed to excellence and glorifying God in all endeavors.
